Postnatal Yoga:

Life is transformed with a newborn baby, often in unexpected ways.Yoga can help you recover not only your figure and your muscle tone, but your strength from within.Yoga breathing and relaxation will nurture you as you nurture your baby.This class will help women regain strength and energy that may have been lost during pregnancy focusing specifically on the abdominal, back and pelvic muscle; releasing tension in the shoulders and neck and the realignment of the spine. 

 
Mommy and Me:
This class focuses on strengthening the spiritual, emotional and physical bond between parent and child. Using interactive, slow-moving postures the class is ideal for mommies and babies 4 weeks to crawling. Class also includes infant massage and various exercises that assist the development of your child's motor skills.
It also helps the new mom strengthening the abdominal, back and pelvic muscle; releasing tension in the shoulders and neck and the realignment of the spine while bonding with her new baby.

 

Physically your focus is now on

  • strengthening, toning and stretching abdominal muscles and waist
  • strengthening, realigning, mobility and stretching of the lower back
  • realignment of your spine
  • strengthening the muscles around the uterus as it returns to its normal pearsized state
  • strengthening  the pelvic muscles
  • stretching the dorsal muscles, which supported the baby during pregnancy
  • achieving in-depth toning
  • strengthening the hips
